Autodesk and Inventor compatibility

As a result of the built-in RealDWG® technology licensed by Autodesk, Conisio is fully compatible with the Autodesk file formats, including AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT , Mechanical Desktop and Autodesk Inventor.

Conisio will read embedded information stored in properties and attributes of Autodesk files and update their file data cards. By updating the file data cards Conisio can also write information to the files without having to open the associated application.

Any references contained in the files will be instantly recognized and maintained by Conisio when these files are stored in the file vault.

Conisio also offers add-ins that run inside client software. They provide extra, application specific features making it possible to open and manage parts and assemblies directly from within the AutoCAD or Inventor interface. By right-clicking on a part in an assembly, that part can be set in modification mode or a new version of it can be retrieved. These are benefits that not only make concurrent engineering possible, but also take the difficulties out of such collaboration.
