Reference management

Assemblies containing parts (file references) are effectively managed by Conisio. Conisio always keeps track of which details belong to which assemblies and all the approved versions.

The reference management system supports Autodesk DWG, Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks file formats. As a result of the built-in RealDWG® technology licensed by Autodesk, Conisio is fully compatible with the Autodesk file formats.

The powerful reference management in Conisio supports moving and renaming referenced components without even having to open the files and resolve any links manually.

Conisio will display the references in the Windows Explorer file structure for an easy overview of the file relations. Conisio also makes sure you do not delete or rename any referenced files and will give extensive information about which assemblies a certain part is contained in.

By clearly showing contains and part of information as tabs in the Explorer interface, users can quickly get an impact analyzis of the references without needing to open up the files in their associated program.
