SolidWorks compatibility

Conisio reads automatically the embedded information stored in the properties of parts, assemblies and drawings and updates their file data cards. By entering information in the file data cards Conisio can also write that information to the files without having to open the associated application. Property information stored in each configuration will also be stored separately for each file data card.

All references between SolidWorks files will be instantly recognized and maintained by Conisio when they are stored in the file vault.

To further utilize the benefit of the Conisio design, add-ins that run inside client software are offered. The add-ins provide extra, application specific features to even further improve the effectiveness of working with Conisio. By right-clicking on a part in an assembly when working with a SolidWorks application you can modify it or get a new version. These features facilitate “concurrent engineering.”
