Workflows and access rights
During the development stages of a project, all files
pass through various states (e.g. Initiated, Editing, or
Waiting for approval) with intermediate state changes.
Managing, designing and depicting this process (workflow)
are easy to do with Conisio’s powerful graphical
workflow editor. This makes it easy to follow the documents
through a project, to see how far a document has come,
what will be the next step, etc.
By means of the workflow editor you can control the document
flow by adding or updating states and state changes using
a simple point and click interface, there is no programming
skills involved. You can easily automate the workflow control
further and minimize the manual work by adding your own
conditions and automatically starting operations.
You may also control the user and group access rights
(e.g. read, modify, delete, change revision number) of
different document states for folders as well as single
documents. In the workflow editor you can also add orders
for automatic notifications to various users when a document
state is changed.
Any number of different workflows can be set up to cater
all various types of documents and processes used in the
company to ensure that all documents are controlled from
the time they are created until approved and published.
The Conisio workflows allows automatic document publishing
and also converting, plotting and ISO certifying of processes.
